"One theme that has emerged from those
looking towards the education of the
twenty-first century is that it has to provide
a flexible frame in which a continuous
process of learning can go on all through
life. It has to teach young people how to
adapt to changing circumstances. It is the
adaption response that features so
importantly in the preserving-health
picture."
-Jillie Collings, LIFE FORCES
(Guidelines for a healthly life on a polluted
planet.) 1991 New English Library.

"The meaning of the word education is not
'to put in,' but 'to draw out.' All true
education is the drawing out from the
student of what is already there. The
Master knows that it is already there and
has no need, therefore, to place it there.
The master simply endeavors to cause
the
student
to notice that it is there." -Neale
Donald Walsch, COMMUNION WITH GOD
2000 Berkley Publishing Group.

"The soul thrives in a climate where
spontaneity is present and it withers in an
environment that is overplanned and
controlled. In education we have given
room for the spontaneous when we talk of
the 'teachable moment.' For schools there
are also teachable moments with regard to
change where school leaders find the
opportunity arises to try something
different. Here the teacher, or school
leader, through his or her intuition senses
that people in that moment are ready to try
something new."
-John P. Miller,
EDUCATION AND THE SOUL 1999 State
University of New York Press.

"I can't imagine anything more important to
our society than to bring soul back into
education. To introduce the soul into
education, therefore, is a radical proposal,
and yet it is a gentle enterprise."
-Thomas
Moore, Author & Theologian from: THE SOUL
AS EDUCATOR foreword to EDUCATION
AND THE SOUL.

"Our society has gotten lost in teaching
children how to memorize. Education is
when we learn something, we get
instructions on how to do something, and
then we experience it. That's really the
education that we want. And so that for me
is to pick a lane, pick something that you
can choose, to move your life forward to
the next level."
-John Assaraf, Author of: THE
STREET KID'S GUIDE TO HAVING IT ALL.
Also from "The Secret" DVD.

"Children have their own inherent blueprint
for life, independent of external factors.
Within any family, two children - given the
same parents and the same social and
economic background - will express from
the first days of life distinctly different
personalities and distinctly different ways
of responding to the outside world. Children
are not blank slates upon which the
environment writes. If we wish to offer 'the
best' for our children, we need to discern
first who they are, and how we can most
effectively support them according first and
foremost to the child's, not the parent's,
needs."
-Liz Greene, Introduction to "The
Child's Horoscope" www.astro.com

"Modern civilization is missing the point of
life. Human life is meant for understanding
spiritual values. Real knowledge is knowing
yourself, what you are, what God is... When
men are not governed by God they will be
ruled by tyrants."
-Steven Jacobson, author
and producer of the audio series' Mind
Control in America.

"It's not enough to have lived. We should
determine to live for something. May I
suggest that it be creating joy for others,
sharing what we have for the betterment of
personkind, bringing hope to the lost and
love to the lonely."
-Leo F. Buscaglia,
Best selling author and facilitator of Love 1A.

"When you feel inspired, what appeared to
be risky becomes a path you feel
compelled to follow. The risks are gone
because you are following your bliss, which
is the truth within you. This is really love
working in harmony with your intention."
-Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, author of 22
self-empowerment books.

"Good Parents give their children roots and
wings. Roots to know where home is,
wings to fly away and exercise what's been
taught them."
-Jonas Salk - quoted by Bettie

Mission Statement: Lifestreaming is a source for living water teachings. Its aim and purpose is to provide a spiritual focus through intuitive,
emotional, and ethical guidance. Children and teenagers will experience self directed insights and understandings as they specifically relate to the
individual. The curriculum format has been carefully developed as an adult directed tool that brings parents and children into a healthy whole. The
vision of this project is to empower youth towards a brighter future of inner peace, stability and goodwill. This teaching strategy acknowledges that
children are inherently smart, gifted, and require a reflection of their pure potential to succeed in their lives and benefit humanity as a whole.

Whether it is in dreams, writings or in art, the word Lifestream
holds a mysterious secret. It's true definition is a daunting task,
if at all possible. For the purpose of this curriculum this word is
used to describe the spark of energy, or thread of light that
connects us to our spirit and our higher selves. As we live out
our life in a stream of free will, so we shape the outcome of our
lives and the evolve meant of our spiritual fulfillment.

Other Lifestream References...

Ever since discovering this word I have kept a log of varying accounts of what
Lifestream means to others. Each occurrence of this word creates a tapestry that
one can use to develop their own interpretation of what this word means to them. It
should be stated that in a lot of the cases below, the broader text contains many
references to spiritual light. An acquaintance I met online described lifestream as
"a beautiful heartlight that shines in the universe." A case where this light is also
relevant is the story of one person who experienced a profound Near Death
Experience. She explained exploring a 'river of life' that she could drink from. She
gained much joy from the sensation of having a
"stream of life" flowing through
her. It is not only light that corresponds with lifestream, but also water. A channeled
text from water-consciousness.com explained the following:
"Understand
beloveds, that the Fountain of Love, the Stream of Life, is water, whether at the
etheric or at the physical level. It is in the waters of Earth and in the waters of
your bodies that all love and all discord are accumulated."
  In a book by Rajinder
Singh called 'Empowering your soul through meditation' he instructs
"The stream
enters the ocean as your soul connects with the ocean of life."
In the book LAW
OF LIFE II by A. D. LUK, it is stated
"The Divine Director observes every lifestream
at a certain point and when they can be of assistance to man-kind he
transmutes their human creation."
These Law of Life books, that explain the "I AM"
Teachings, are perhaps one of the best sources for lifestream information. The
books contain a visual chart of 3 figures with a Violet Flame blazing up around each
one and a pillar of white Light with a Blue Ring circling them. This image is said to
illustrate our Lifestream. In a channelled message from Sananda, he uses the
word lifestream to explain solar or soul level understanding. In a discourse taken
from Ascended Master El Morya the discussion of creating a garment of pure white
light was described:
"around the energy of the lifestream." The following Acronym
was once provided to me from someone I knew:
Love Infinite Forever Eternal
Spirit Tranquillity Realm Ethereal Almighty Merging. Perhaps the most unpredicted
interpretation I found was from another acquaintance who stated it this way.
"LIFEST living in honor of your true source. REAM part of the multifaceted
tapestry of the blueprint."
However my favorite quote comes from Dr. Carolyn who
created the  Lifestream Center for Creative Living.
"Lifestream is the Divine Mind
Spirit Life that creates, composes, unifies, energizes, harmonizes, animates and
regulates the Universe. It is the force that holds each celestial body in its orbit,
hangs the rainbow in the sky, gives splendor to the sun, color to the rose,
individual beauty to each snowflake, and expression through humanity. It is the
Divine Milieu in which we all live, move and have our being. When we breathe, we
inhale it. As we think, we mold it. When we speak, we proclaim it. As we live, we
direct its flow. When we love, we share it. When we pray, we commune with it,
and when we keep silent, we hear it speak to us."

Curriculum Affirmations & Strands...

However you choose to interpret this word it is clear that it is about the fluidity of
life's expression. It is about flowing with the purpose of our souls. It is about
keeping our creative force expressing. Within this life river we honor the natural
intelligence inside of us. The law of attraction dictates that as we radiate our truths
to the world from our core selves, we attract like minded energy in return. It is this
involvement with other lifestreams that guarantee our advancement as spiritual
beings. Therefore the mental picture of your lifestream could be like waves of gentle
energy emanating from a core intelligence and washing all the way through your
higher self to your physical being. I have crafted 10 truths below to keep oneself
anchored in their lifestream flow:

*My lifestream is a conduit of light channeling the divine expression of the
Creators will.

*I will naturally express my true self whenever I am aligned within my own
lifestream energy.

*I am responsible for maintaining a connection with my lifestream energy.

*I allow the love and joy inherent within my lifestream to express itself openly
and freely through my physical body.

*Whenever I am disillusioned or troubled I can always recieve instant answers
through my lifestream connection.

*I can use my lifestream flow to send healing energy to others.

*My lifestream in this current reality was meant to be. I am serving a
divine reason for existing in physicality.

*There are no limits on how high my potential can ascend within my lifestream
connection.

*As long as I am one with my lifestream, all my needs will materialize in physical
form.

*The love contained within my lifestream connection is the only kind of love I will
ever truly need to sustain myself.

To take this concept of lifestream being a chord or conduit of light one step further.
One could see this energy as a bundle of strands that connect and energize the
soul. Below are examples of strands that represent a unified lifestream essence:

The strand of Abundance
The strand of Acceptance
The strand of Ascension
The strand of Awakening
The strand of Balance
The strand of Compassion
The strand of Connection
The strand of Conviction
The strand of Courage
The strand of Devotion
The strand of Divinity
The strand of Eternity
The strand of Expansion
The strand of Expression
The strand of Faith
The strand of Flow
The strand of Freedom
The strand of Fulfillment
The strand of Glory
The strand of Growth
The strand of Harmony
The strand of Illumination
The strand of Insight
The strand of Inspiration
The strand of Integrity
The strand of Intuition
The strand of Passion
The strand of Power
The strand of Pride
The strand of Purpose
The strand of Reflection
The strand of Rhythm
The strand of Strength
The strand of Surrender
The strand of Transformation
The strand of Truth...

All these strands and more make up the bundle of energy inside your lifestream.
Invite all aspects of unity into your field. Together with compassion we  reclaim the
divine, and surrender to the oneness of all. In support of this theme of strands
Elizabeth Goudge wrote:
"In spite of all that has befallen the world I still believe
that the threads of it, ourselves, are held securely in the scheme of things by
some great unconquerable spiritual power. Call it what you will - destiny, fate,
the first cause, the lifestream, God - it does not lose hold of a single thread."

(from: The Castle on the Hill. 1942)

Your spirit drawing from the eternal spring of your lifestream is becoming the
expression of its own intelligent creative power!

YOUR LIFESTREAM...
Lifestream
"Children should be allowed
to choose their course of
learning, pursue it in their
own way and at their own
pace, and adjust their course
as needed. Education, then,
is modeled after life itself,
and it therefore teaches
children how to move through
life. In this model, there is
no right or wrong way, simply
many different choices.
Mistakes aren't considered
shameful but part of the
process of learning. This
teaches children to know
themselves and to be
responsible for themselves -
to know what they want, go
after it, and take
responsibility for the
consequences."
